If your front teeth are slightly different length, we may be able to shorten the longer one or lengthen the shorter one with bonding or porcelain. We analyze the overall appearance of your smile and consider the Golden Proportion, a natural law that considers the relationship between width and length. Orthodontic treatment will be indicated if the difference in length is beyond mild. Together, we’ll choose the most conservative option to create a balanced smile.

Sometimes there’s a space between the front teeth, known as a diastema. If you’re happy with it and it does not increase in size over time, there’s no need for treatment. But if you’d like to eliminate it, our dentists will discuss all the possible treatments to close the gap. These options range from simple bonding, which works well in many cases. In more demanding cases, porcelain veneers and orthodontic treatment will be discussed.

Several underlying factors could cause teeth chipping such as trauma, grinding, weakness of the teeth structure, and other habits like nail biting.
