Biography

Dr. Tamimi grew up in Riyadh and attended King Saud University where she earned a professional degree in dentistry. She then studied Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and received a Certificate of Fellowship and Doctorate of Medical Science.

Dr. Tamimi’s training led her to multiple opportunities in the private and academic sectors, including as a radiology consultant for diagnostic services and an educator to her colleagues. She’s currently an Adjunct Clinical Assistant professor at the University of Texas and Director of Education at the Institute of Advanced Maxillofacial Imaging, among other roles. In addition, she’s published many articles in professional journals and been invited to speak to organizations around the world on complex clinical subjects. Dr. Tamimi and her husband have three children and engage in many family activities. They enjoy traveling, hiking, scuba diving, and delicious food, and she loves meeting new people and exploring cultures. Dr. Tamimi is also a 500-hour level Yoga instructor with advanced training in healthcare yoga to help people with PTSD and chronic diseases. Her parallel training in fitness brings an uncommon understanding of whole-body wellness to her patients and colleagues.
